The search service can find package by either name (apache), provides(webserver), absolute file names (/usr/bin/apache), binaries (gprof) or shared libraries (libXm.so.2) in standard path. It does not support multiple arguments yet...
The System and Arch are optional added filters, for example System could be "redhat", "redhat-7.2", "mandrake" or "gnome", Arch could be "i386" or "src", etc. depending on your system.
The package provides a single command for the notation of substitution, \subst{\varphi}{x}{t}, and lets the convention be chosen once in the preamble. Seven conventions are supported, among them the two mirror- image readings of the slash, the assignment colon, the arrow and the up- down form with the variable above the term. Simultaneous substitutions are written as two comma lists paired by index, and lists of different lengths are reported as an error. The delimiters are selected with a key and scale to their contents in the starred form, and the colon of the assignment convention is centred on the mathematical axis. The commands are mode-aware and robust, so they may be used in section titles and captions. The package requires only a recent LaTeX kernel and loads nothing else.
