The libStorageMgmt library will provide a vendor agnostic open source storage application programming interface (API) that will allow management of storage arrays. The library includes a command line interface for interactive use and scripting (command lsmcli). The library also has a daemon that is used for executing plug-ins in a separate process (lsmd).

* ledmon support is now optional at configure time
* Fall back to the standard systemd unit, sysusers and
tmpfiles directories when pkgconfig does not report them
* Numerous test suite fixes and new IPC and megaraid tests
- Add python3-pytest to the test-only BuildRequires, the test
suite now runs part of itself under pytest
- Use %ldconfig_scriptlets for the library subpackage
